Admagic is a creative retouching studio, with over 20 years digital retouching experience. Specialising in hi-end retouching and illustration, we also offer photographic services, allowing a ‘one stop shop’. Being a small, boutique style company, we offer a personal approach, you deal with the person doing the job. Our brief is to make your concept a reality, above your original expectations. 

ABOUT TED

Ted Blore, Admagics founder and director, started out as a formally trained graphic designer / illustrator back in 1981. In 1989, he was ‘head hunted’ for a job on the first Quantel Graphic Paintbox in Australia. After 12 years as senior retoucher at Tranny’s, he moved on to become head artist at Alias. 8 years later, he established Admagic.

Over his extensive career, Ted has worked for virtually every major agency, both locally and abroad. He has seen retouching move from paintbrushes, to million dollar Quantel mainframes, to terraflop Macintosh. This has allowed him to enhance the latest technology, whilst being able to draw on ‘old school’ methods if needed (he still owns an airbush!).

Australia’s most experienced digital retoucher, he has aquired an attention to detail and an understanding of briefs that only a life-time can generate.
